Via Desiree79 @ Doll Cafe Forum we have an image of the new Fashion Model Ken 2012. So far he has been seen in Europe but I’m sure he’ll be available in the US as well. Here he retailed for 13.99 euros -> $17.19. Unfortunatelly he is NOT articulated but he’s cute. I’m definetly getting him for his head and fashions.
It’s time for a new Magia 2000 doll from the Cosmopolitan series. This time we have a cute doll dressed in sportswear inspired by the Italian company Freddy. For now I only have this image of the doll but I hope we can get some good scans of the spread in Cosmopolitan so we can see the entire doll.
If you are a Project Runway fan like I am you definetly must love Tim Gunn, the amazing mentor and fashion consultant that always knows how to lift spirits and say something witty. I have always admired his sense of style and the fact that he’s not afraid to say things as they are so I can’t even express how happy I am that he’s teamed up with Mattel to produce two dolls plus separate fashion sets that will be released in August as a Pink Label.
I can not begin to say how much I love these dolls and fashions! So chic, so collector, so what I want now from Barbie. For me it’s the next level. I hope this is the way Barbie Look will look.
It’s summer time! The weather is finally the way it’s supposed to be and so Barbie’s friends Tara Lynn, Magda (Heart Family Mom), Addison (Super Curl Whitney) and Whitney (Ultra Hair) are going out to a terase to enjoy some ice cream and chat about all kinds of stuff. In the background you can hear Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince singing “summmer, summer, summer time”.
Some time ago I did a small photoshooting with my new girls and my friend Laura helped me with it. You can see the shooting my my two lovely Benetton girls on my Romanian blog and now here’s a picture with the lovely Totally Hair Whitney European Edition that I got from a flea market in Budapest. Her hair is cut short but the funny thing is I kind of like it that way. Makes her look edgy and sweet.
We dressed her in a early 80s dress (I think it’s a Best Buy dress but I can’t find the stock number) and used a hat and a bracelet from a Maxie by Hasbro doll. The bag is from an early 2000s playset. I think she looks stunning! I’m not sure if I’ll ever reroot her. Maybe when I get bored with this edgy look I’ll make her a readhead but so far I really enjoy the way she looks. More picture coming soon!
Hi guys! So sorry for being MIA but, as you might know, on the September 9th I have my wedding and getting ready for this big event is driving me C-R-A-Z-Y! Lots of things to do, lots of work to be done until then etc etc etc. I promise I’ll try to write more often but please be patinet with me.
Today’s post is dedicated to the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G dolls that Nik and Marie created and debuted ar this year’s NBDCC. I can’t even try to decide which one is my fave as all of them are breath taking. I love that they even made some Ken dolls. Most of these dolls are already sold but we will seen them soon in the upcoming Doll Peagent.

And here they are at last! This year’s convention dolls made by my sweet friends Gianni and Mario from Magia 2000. The dolls are dressed in white serene gowns with a touch of pale pink and some discrete jewelry. You can see below both versions, causasian and AA.
Barbie Con 2012 is keeping us very busy these days. Yesterday a few of the new Barbie Collector dolls were shown at the convention and we have some pictures via the Doll Attic Facebook page.
First up is an amazing Ghost Barbie by Bill Greening. It’s the first doll froma new series, a BC exclusive Gold Label and I LOVE IT!!! I can’t wait to see more and better pictures of her face but she’s definetly on my wish list.
Then we have the new Hostess Barbie 2012. Not my kind of doll but she’s cute.
And last but not least, via The Fashion Doll Review, we have the Pink Passport Barbie a Barbie Con exclusive that we’ll be given away to all the attendees.
I for one can’t wait to see the convention doll Mario and Gianni from Magia 2000 created for this event. I bet I’ll fell in love with her as I do with all theri creations. Check out more pictures from the convention HERE.
Yet another doll has been sneak peeked and it is designed by Stephen Burrows. She’s pretty but not really my cup of tea. I’m into this whole feather thing. As someone pointed on Facebook, she looks like a cross between Cher and another Mackie doll.
