Two new playline Barbie doll sets

August 15, 2013

I just came across these two new Barbie doll sets that are now available in the stores. First up is a articulated (except for the wrists) Barbie I Can Be – Sea World doll. She retails for $14.99 and can be alrady found in the shops.

She’s nice, but why not articulate her wrists? :-?

Then we have this Barbie and Ken set called Barbie Mariposa and the Fairy Princess Giftset. I have a feeling a lot of people will buy it just for the prince. He has rooted hair! But the price…@-) $42.99 for a playline set?! That’s crazy!

can’t wait for the Christmas seazon to come so we can see more playline dolls.

With Mattel its like 2 steps forward and then 1 step back.

$42..99 ? LOL thats even more expensive than some of the detailed collector dolls ! I sense a clearance sale on those dolls

The articulation .. they even gave her the old articulated legs(only go up and down – not swivel), and not the new pivotal legs. I honestly dont understand the point of having the arms unarticulated. Still better than the new horrible WOZ dolls paddle hands.

The pivotal body should be the default for all dolls, In my opinion.
