Free Fantasy FFD Age of Renaissance

I have been meaning to post about this since last week, but always got lost in the daily shananiganz of a busy family and never managed to do that.

But here I am! Ready to talk about another beautiful series of the Free Fantasy dolls by Italian artist Nickis Fabbrocile. i remember the first time I met him. It was May 2012 and I was attending my first ever doll convention. The second edition of the Italian Doll Convention. It was the first time I had ever seen a doll sales room and I was in LOVE! Especially with his OOAK Barbie dolls. I wish I could find right now the images I took of those dolls, but they are somewhere buried in my removable hard drives so you’ll just have to take my word that they were really beautiful and spectacular.

Not long after that he came out with his own line of high quality adult collector dolls called Free Fantasy. The new series is called Age of Renaissance and here are the details.

The dolls are 16”, 29 points of articulation and magnetic feet and hands. They are made of high quality resin and come in 5 skin tones: Light Vanilla, Dusty Blue, Desert, Stone, Light Caramel.

The first face mold from this series is named Guru, a face with a Mongolian somatic trait. There are also 2 versions of this mold: The Nymphs with drilled face features, and Muses with traditional painted features.

There are 3 ways to get these dolls:

  1. Get a basic, blank doll with a pairt of random eyes.
  2. Commision doll painted and customized.
  3. OOAK doll that will be 100% created by the artist. A total expression of his creativity.

I don’t know about you, but I think they are beautiful. Definetly the next level of collecting for me.

What do you think of them?
